Description:

1. The governmental committee shall participate in the development of public policies which have a direct impact on Chamber members;
2. The governmental committee shall be responsible for facilitating City Council debates/forums in election years;
3. The governmental committee shall recruit recommendations for qualified members to serve on local boards and commissions;
4. The chair of governmental committee shall attend at least one of the Texas Federation of Asian American Chambers of Commerce meetings;
5. Current board member(s) shall chair the committee and may appoint the members of their committee.
